 The Hearts For Honduras School transforms lives every day by providing children with a holistic education. In Honduras education is not free. Parents are required to pay fees for their children to attend public school. Therefore, children from the poorest of families are trapped in a vicious cycle of poverty and illiteracy. The Hearts For Honduras School was started by a local school teacher who wanted to ensure that all the children of their town would have access to an education. The children at the Hearts For Honduras School are provided with an education, a nutritious meal each day, vitamins, and basic medical and dental care in a loving, Christian environment.
